Hello my sisters!
We are diving into two books this week.
I know...
You are probably wondering why are we doing two (2) books this week, aren't you?
Well, the Old Testament is very healthy in the length of books it carry. So if we were to read just a few chapters every week, we would have been in the Old Testament for a year. And our goal is to finish strong in the Fall with finishing the Old Testament, since we started last year in the Fall.
This week we are reading a book about restoration, building and courage of a woman who was able to save her people through her the character she held as a woman and a title of a queen. I love the book of Nehemiah because anytime I am in a season of 'building', I run to this book. This book has taught me so much about leadership, teamwork and the humbleness of being God's servant. The book of Esther is a book that has taught me a lesson in honor and how to carry myself when in the presence of kings (the men that are in our life and those that we come in contact with each day).
I love the different teachings every book carry but it is those teachings that you apply to and you live out in your own life that can make a difference in every season of your life! Please share a time when you were building something that made a huge difference in your life.
