Hey ladies!

I hope you are enjoying the beginning of your week so far. When I think of motherhood, I think of the mother of Samuel, who put her trust and faith in the Lord to bear her a son because she was barren. She prayed to the Lord for a child and the Lord remembered her and blessed her with an open womb.

The book of 1 Samuel, the prophet Samuel restored order back to the house of God after the chosen people of Israel rebelled against the Lord and worshiped many idols throughout the different judges that led them during that time. Samuel, Hannah’s son, was blessed because he listened to the Spirit and obeyed the Lord so the Lord was with him. One of the major themes of 1 Samuel is the importance of honoring the Lord.
